Just make sure you listen to it at least once. Their are two music videos of the album (Doesn't mean anything & Try sleeping with a broken heart). And one half, well Empire state of mind, without Jay-Z is on the album.

I recently obtained the album of Ke$ha, with the name of 'Animal'. My friends already sort of recommended it. Some songs' lyrics are not the used to lyrics you hear. If you would put these lyrics behind each other and than give a description of the person 'Ke$ha'. You would probably say she is, a little bit crazy, or more likely she is a slut or a nymphomaniac. Never the less, not the whole albums is like that. Style is mostly sort of pop with a more aiming to dance genre beat.
I suggest you just go and get the album, buy or download it. Its really is a fine album, containing nice beats and flows. Go get it and listen for yourself.
