Nike SB Eugene Backpacks
Nike SB drops two new colorways of its popular Eugene backpack. Both a Gucci-esque black/red/green version is shown, along with another mimicking the Piet Mondrian scheme implemented on the brand’s Dunk Low’s from 2008. Both are now available through Nike SB accounts, including DQM.
The North Face Purple Label - Backpacks
The Japanese-exclusive The North Face Purple Label line releases a new collection of bags for this season. Available via Nanamica.
Japanese retailer nanamica continue their exclusive ongoing partnership with The North Face Purple Label for another limited run of its Medium Day Pack.
Iron Man - Hot Toys Expo
Hong Kong-based toy brand Hot Toys recently kicked off an exhibition in line with the highly anticipated Iron Man 2 movie which released at the conclusion of last month. The exhibition invited a number of regional artists and designers to re-appropriate Hot Toys’ realistically reproduced 1:6 Mark III Iron Man figure. The list of artists and designers include Anthony Mestas, Bernardo Esquivel, Heath Hammond and Mr Jesse Lincoln from Sideshow Collectibles, Japanese designers Peiper and Kaz, Korean painter Lalla and local designers from Hong Kong including Elphonso Lam, Eric So, Kenny Wong, William Tsang and Winson Ma among others. To cap off the exhibition, a 1:1 scale War Machine statue was also incorporated into the exhibition which runs until the end of the week at the Miramar Shopping Mall in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.
